Crazy Sexy Cancer

Watched an insightful movie this morning (yes – a movie in class!) about a young woman living with a rare, slow-growing metastatic cancer. This movie comes highly recommended for a real, in-your-face perspective on how having cancer can change your life.

  1. Wow, this seems like it would be very intense, but very informative too.

  2. Jason, that brought tears to my eyes. Cancer is a scary think, but the woman in this movie seems to have it right, to look at cancer as her teacher. My dad always said, “You can’t change the direction of the wind, but you can adjust your sails.”

  3. She is beautiful.

Feels like a shallow comment, but I mean wholly so. Like, soul-beautiful, which is the glow that is behind physical beauty. Without soul-beauty, physical beauty is kind of flat.

Anyway. I would like to watch that. I think my heart would break, but I would still like to see it.
